The State of a MAGA Nation
America is the playground bully.
America is the billionaire who wants not just his money, but all of yours too.
America is one set of rules for itself, and another for the rest of the world.
America is the gay basher.
America is the enraged parent at the Little League game.
America is the Christian on Sunday and the Klansman the other 6 days of the week.
America is the lie that becomes a false truth.
America is the “Alpha Male” frightened of every female.
America is intolerance seen as patriotism.
America is monumental narcissism, arrogance and delusions of grandeur.
America is unaccountability.
America is conformity.
America is crassness as culture, and boorishness as elegance.
America is blind hatred for how you look and speak.
America is education as elitism and ignorance as sacrament.
America is cowardice unsuccessfully disguised as bluster and toughness.
America is selfishness, inhumanity and misanthropism.
America is never being wrong and never being sorry.
America is the entitled, well, everyone.
And (The United States of) America is over.
Can we save our country? That question can best be answered by positing others - can MAGA minds (such as they are) ever be cleansed of this traitorous poison? And at that impossibility, can the MAGAs, then, with all justification, be tried for treason?
It’s said that, historically, empires last around 250 years, and, so, here we are. Now it’s time to render unto Caesar, those things that are Caesar’s.
We'll conclude today's cheery presentation with a look at what the United States of America once was, or, at least, once aspired to be.
