Season of the Witch – A Poem of Palin

Sarah Palin is a woman of various and sundry talents – sedition, treason, treachery - just to name a scant few. With great regularity, she posts fully-fabricated, hateful, villainous lies about our President, our government and our fellow American citizens, in the most incendiary terms and violent language, encouraging her readers to take action, and then feigns innocence as many of her over 3.5 million Facebook fans respond with threats against Barack Obama’s life, and assurances of an armed uprising and civil war. When will she be held responsible for the odious animosity and simple-minded savagery her rhetoric incites? She already has the blood of the gun-site, targeted Gabby Giffords on her hands, what happens if one of her myriad, mentally-unstable minions fulfills her deepest desire and successfully shoots our Chief Executive?

While Palin’s woefully low levels of intelligence, common sense, knowledge, perception, and judgment should render her but an unpleasant vague memory, an irrelevant, nasty jest once perpetrated on the American electorate, the indiscriminate power and reach of social media grants her an undeserved popularity possibly attributable to a number of negative factors - the deterioration of the underfunded educational system, the never-ending great American appeal of bigotry, intolerance and resentment of others, and of course, the ability to brazenly and boldly lie, to knowingly falsify and when called out and proven wrong time and again, to never waver from the preposterous prevarications, but instead assume indignation and insult. In its own deviant manner, such an attitude and ability is almost brilliant, if not beautiful, and certainly, like Cat Ballou, “mean and evil, through and through.”

Sarah Palin perverts the positive notions of patriotism and faith to inspire people to hate… as she hates. For, this self-proclaimed uber-patriot hates America and she hates Americans. With a fallaciously, All-American mantra of God, baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, xenophobia and bloodshed she leads a zealous and fanatical following in hopes of a hillbilly revolution and a modern confederacy.

Palin’s past has proven that words have consequences, in her case, violent words had violent consequences, and her chosen path is fraught with continued, conceivable dangers for our citizenry. May she someday acquiesce to an appearance on MSNBC, but not on “Hardball” or “The Rachel Maddow Show,” but preferably from her residence in one of our nation’s fine federal penitentiaries on “Locked Up.”

Parasite

She tosses raw meat to the hungry hounds

Every word from her mouth, a vindictive sound.

She praises country and worships God,

While arming her flock for an American Jihad.

The blood of innocents drip from her fangs

Vilifies and lies in violent harangues.

A raconteur of killing dead

A provocateur to empty heads.

An imagination loathsome and vivid

Renders feckless disciples viciously livid

With fabrications of Muslims and Commies

A Kenyan fiend aborting babies from mommies.

Hussein purloins guns, your freedoms, your rights,

Then exterminates Granny in the dead of night.

The great unmindful strike on her command

Threaten forceful rebuke against this great land.

When Gabby felt the bullet’s sting

Did her frozen soul feel anything?

To inflame and then claim it’s in God’s name,

No, she didn’t pull the trigger but she showed him where to aim.

And the money pours in from suckers and marks

As she tells more tall tales of Lenin and Marx

And of other threats that don’t really exist

Will there still be more names on the victims list?
